A little about me

An engineer by formation & a designer by heart

What I love about my job is that I can radiate emotions through what I create

At home by the sea.
Based in the beautiful coast of Lake Ontario, NY, I’m a digital superhero trying to forge a positive impact using my superpower of great experiences and design.

I have a strong affinity for HAX Design. I’ve built design systems, gamified health platforms, and reimagined digital portals for usability and impact, always with a focus on connecting people and technology in meaningful ways. Whether I’m running UX research, launching a marketing funnel, or producing standout video content, I thrive at the intersection of strategy, creativity, and systems thinking.

I’m a creative mocktail of two amazing fields – Engineering & Design

My background in engineering massively benefits me to think analytically and solve problems critically while my passion for design drives my wild and creative imagination.

But design is just one side of my story

I have a great affinity for music as I play the piano and guitar. I also love public speaking, photography, film-making, playing soccer and weirdly enough, beatboxing. 🎤😀

My Story So Far

Let me take you on a ride-along through my journey. It all started when I was 6. Strap in!

2004

I was 6 when I first fell in love with art and design

April 2016

Graduated High School with a specialization in Computer Science and made a life-changing decision to step into engineering.

September 2017

My paper on Solar Fibers using TENGs won the ‘Best Paper’ awards at 2 National Level Symposiums

January 2018

The folks at Forge (our department’s quarterly newsletter) caught wind of my abilities and made me their Design Lead and eventually their ‘Head of Design’

May 2019

My big break! – I made the bold decision to pursue User Experience Design as a career and earned my 1st design internship at Rillusion, a well-known design studio in Chennai

I met some of the kindest people here who nurtured me into the designer I am today.

December 2019

I bagged my 2nd internship at Spiceblue, another mainstream design studio in Chennai

Here, my role was more on the UX Research side of things on a CRM platform

January 2020

I was 1 of the 2 selected for a research internship at Heilbronn University, Germany which I later converted into my bachelor’s thesis

It was a pretty cool project on reverse engineering an electric vehicle to increase its load-carrying capacity and efficiency.

April 2020

I bagged my 1st full-time role as a UX Designer at Inqutec Labs, a healthcare startup

September 2020

I won my 1st international hackathon (ShellHacks), for a challenge set by Google who provided us with $5000 of Google Cloud Credits and a mentor to make our project a reality

We ended up demoing our beta version of our app in April at their Demo Day.

Feb 2021

I won 2 more hackathons in a row. I was on a streak!

August 2021 to
June 2022

Freelanced for 6+ clients, winning the "Site of the day" at Awwwards for one of my projects with Bolk Studios

May 2024

Graduated with a Masters in Human-Computer Interaction from SUNY Oswego. Landed a job as a Marketing & Creative Lead at the Office of Admissions at SUNY Oswego.

Today

I'm a full-time Marketing and Creative Lead at SUNY Oswego Admissions working on cool UX projects such as revamping the Application Portal experience.
